When the inevitable changes happened, Plugz was very clear in explaining the problem and potential solutions. Once we agreed changes, changes to the work order were immediate, with a pdf estimate to my email unless than a minute. Whatever service management software they are using is the bomb and have trained their employees to use it well.My wiring was downright scary. The peace of mind is priceless. Very happy with Plugz.

Mike and Terry were out today adding another breaker exclusively for the microwave as well as checking all other items on the same circuits. They worked steadily and efficiently on what was a challenging project getting the microwave on a separate wire. They also were very patient in answering many questions and it was easy to get an appointment. I highly recommend Plugz.
We’re pleased with the service. The electrician was courteous and professional and did a great job diagnosing the problem, explaining things and fixing it. However, I thought the price was exorbitant. I knew this was going to be expensive and this may be the going rate, but $780 to diagnose and replace 2 outlets that probably took less than 20 minutes is obscene.
I called Eric about an emergency situation I had with a water heater. He came through gave me a quote and sent out Jeremy and Josh the next day. They did a great job and were super personable. I really appreciate all their help. Thank you Jeremy, Josh, and Eric!

They did quality work on our house adding many new outlets, dedicated circuits for two bathroom wall heaters plus a point-of-use water heater, whole house surge protection, and replacing our old integrated smoke detectors. Big project -- two electricians for more than two days. My only disappointment is they have not yet replaced nine of the temporary outlets they installed with outlets that match the style of my other existing receptacles and cover plates, as we discussed. Initially, they experienced a delay receiving the parts but now it has been almost two months since the installation. Still nothing.

My power went out on Saturday morning. Eric came by and got my electricity back on the SAME DAY. Then Kerry and Cameron came the following Monday to replace fuse box.All 3 dudes were very helpful and explained what they were doing. I had no clue and they were very friendly. Plugz electric saved us after a storm took out our electrical mast, we were without power for 46 hours. Once I realized we needed an emergency electrician and not xcel, I called plugz. I reached out about 8-8:15 and was signing the receipt by 10:15! Plugz was so friendly, helpful and explained everything right from the first minute on the phone. Soren and Cameron were at our house in south mpls within 30- 45 mins! They were both kind, professional, thorough, and very informative. I felt so well taken care of, respected and listened to through the whole process. It is obvious they both have tons of knowledge, experience and seem to genuinely like what they do. xcel came out the next day and the mast passed excels inspection without any issue ( I wasn't surprised in the least). We are so thankful for their quick response and were beyond happy when they restored our power. Thank you Soren and Cameron for coming through and working in the dark to help our family after a long 46 hours without power in the summer! I will certainly without hesitation reach out for any future projects and would recommend them to anyone.
We had Rob come out yesterday to get a diagnostic done. Found some interesting things. For one, wire was completely burnt to a crisp. As well all of the fuses were mislabeled and was completely hard to read. So, we determined to have a whole new fuse box installed. Secondly, we're receiving 115 volts to the house. Where we need to be receive 120 volts. That's why we've been noticing every so often the lights in the house dimming here and there. Go to the meter outside and detect xcel energy is at fault with why we're receiving such a low voltage. So now we wait for xcel to show up and take care of that. Lastly, spare bedroom needed the ceiling fan replaced. So we added that to the job.Now today 7/31/24. Rob came back right around noon and started working on the new projects. About a 4 hour job to complete everything. Photos of the before and after are listed below. Rob was very helpful, very kind, explained everything that was going on and what was needing done or repaired. 5 stars truly isnt enough for a rating. Wasn't cheap, but rather it be done right and correct then what I previously had in my home, while luckily nothing bad ever happened.Thank you Rob and Plugz Electric for the great job.
